Hiroshima Twinkie

Sunday 27th October 2019 3pm

At last! After a previously unavoidable cancellation we are now able to present to you lucky people, Hiroshima Twinkie.

Coming from the fair city of Lancaster they have been together for 5 years now and have self produced 3 full length albums of rich and varied original material and are currently working on their 4th album.

Hiroshima Twinkie are a highly entertaining alternative folk rock with four part harmony and a country/bluegrass twist. Chris, Dave, Mike and Trev will give you a storming performance that'll get your feet taping. Their music has a definite lean towards Americana and they have been described as "Crosby, Stills and Nash...with teeth" and we're in for an enjoyable treat this Sunday afternoon.

You can expect storming harmonic danceable grooves, a conga request and a stonking polka about a dead tortoise - sounds like fun!

Pay them a visit on the Hiroshima Twinkie Facebook page.

Plus if you are wondering about the band's unusual name here's a clue... Mrs. Doyle ... it turned out to be Father Todd Unctious! .
