Jeremy Sassoon Trio

Thursday 8th November 2018 9pm

We welcome tonight with great pleasure the return of the renowned Jazz and Blues singer/pianist Jeremy Sassoon and to accompany him on this occasion will be Sam Vicary on bass and Frankie Vaughan on drums.

We first discovered Jeremy during a gig at the former 'Green Day Cafe' on Bolton Road - remember that? A gig which highlighted Jeremy's brilliant piano playing which left a lasting impression. Now an accomplished vocalist also, this is a rare opportunity to see Jeremy perform in Darwen.

Dr. Jeremy Sassoon comes with a great CV having headlined at many esteemed jazz venues such as Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in Soho where he performs regularly, the Boisdale Club in Canary Wharf, the A-Trane Jazz Club in Berlin as well as running his own big band tribute to Ray Charles. He is a gifted pianist equally at home playing jazz as he is playing blues, soul and gospel. All of which qualifies him admirably for a performance at the Number 39, where we like to get you the very best.

Tonight you can expect R&B, soul, pop, gospel and a touch of jazz ... not to be missed.

You can learn more and watch some videos at the Jeremy Sassoon Website or visit Jeremy on Facebook.
