plus Zero & Ian Guy in support
Thursday 3rd October 2019 9pm
Stand by for wonderfully wacky night as we welcome from Bacup the irrepressible Mrs. Cakehead.
Mrs. Cakehead is a band of people and machines covering dub, ragga, Bhangra, old school ska, odd covers and originals. The band are one of Lancashire's biggest reggae exports playing their unique Bacup-style variety of wonky, noisy dancehall beats and 'reet' proper Lancashire vibes. It'll be a completely one-off performance since, to keep things fresh... it's never rehearsed!
"When we were in mental hospital we listened to Mrs. Cakehead and it made us feel better..." - Ryan Gray, sidewalkmag.com
This is going to be a fun, bonkers night and if you want to find out more take a look at Mrs. Cakeheadf on Facebook.
Supports for this event comes in the form of our good friends ZERO (Panjenix) and his long standing partner in crime Ian Guy who will uplift us with nautical songs of the shanty nature!
